Howdy Midwest followers,
So today I have been thinking about who the colts should hire as their next head coach. I read today that they were interviewing a coach from the CFL in Canada. I don’t know about all of you flag football guys out there but him and Jim Tressel are not the guys I want with the microphone on the sideline. The sweater vest has not proved that he can consistently win on the big stage in college sports, yet we want to bring him up to the next level of the NFL to try and coach a brand new staff and maybe a brand new offense and QB? This is not what I think we should do. Also the CFL to me is not near the NFL. People that people don’t want on their NFL teams end up going down to the CFL, and to bring some guy that is used to coaching mediocre talent to a rebuilding team is not what I would be looking for either. I know he used to be a Coordinator in the NFL but he has been gone a while and as we all know the NFL can change a lot between seasons let alone over 5yrs.
To be honest my pick for the team would be Chuck Pagano the Defensive Coordinator for the Baltimore Ravens. His team likes playing for him; he coaches some of the best talent in the NFL with Ray Lewis and Ed Reed. Also Defense wins championships and with a quarterback like Peyton or Luck, and an evolving defense I think we could reach that next level.
On another note I have learned that there are some new items involved out here for Indiana Fast Pitch softball and the tournaments held out here. 1. Adding catch netting for decreasing foul balls, 2.increased backstop height, 3. Reducing crown on some diamonds, 4.Adding 2 fast pitch diamonds and 5. There will be a head coaches' appreciation with a free meal each tournament from the fishbowl.
